Our Chairman, J. Stephen Ridenour began a career at an early age working for Ridenour Home Builders & Supply, which was one of Knoxville’s leading home builders and building supply companies. Ridenour Home Builders & Supply was founded in 1958 and owned by his parents, Joe and Marjorie Ridenour.

Since 1985, J.S. Ridenour Construction, Inc. has evolved into a full-service construction company that provides three methods of delivery: General Contracting, Design Build, and Construction Management.

Steve founded Ridenour Properties, LLC in 1998, this allowed a different delivery method other than contracting thorough facility leasing. Ridenour Properties, LLC has evolved into a leading property management company over the years.
In 2010, Steve founded Ridenour Realty, LLC to better promote and serve Ridenour Properties, LLC.

With Ridenour Realty’s diverse offerings and knowledge in commercial real estate, they now represent a wide array of clients with their commercial real estate needs.

In 2012, the above entities became divisions of Ridenour Companies, LLC. At one location we perform construction, development, and real estate services.
